CLASSES (January-February-March)
1. REIKI
I--February 18th (6:30pm to 9:30 pm)
February 19th (9:30am to 6 pm)
Learn
this Japanese form of healing energy work which is used to
relax, replenish and heal the body. The first level of Reiki can
be helpful for yourself, family, friends, pets and plants. You
will learn the definition of Reiki, the Reiki story, the five
principles of Reiki, healing with Reiki, hand positions for
working on yourself and others. You will receive the first
attunements, will have practice time, will receive a manual and
a certificate for attending the class.
Wear warm
layered seasonally appropriate clothes. Class is held on Friday
evening and all day Saturday. If we go a little late Friday
night, then we will start a little later on Saturday morning.
Cost:
$100 [half payment ($50) is required at time of registration.

After you
register, I begin the teaching process in dreamtime to ease your
learning the Reiki process. This is a part of the process, and
must be done before you actually enter class.
2. HOMEOPATHIC STUDY GROUP
4
Saturday afternoons, 4 topics
Begin to
learn how to deal with acute homeopathic issues.
It is
important at some point, if you are serious about learning how
to do this that you get a homeopathic home care kit. The ones
with 50 remedies at 30C potency offer you the best variety at a
good price. Kit prices can vary from about $70 to $110. It is
suggested that if you do not have a kit that you wait until you
get to class and then we can put in a group order for kits and
thus maximize the savings on the cost of a kit. Please call if
you have questions about this.
When you
register for this study group you must register for the whole
class unless you have been in a previous study group. Those who
have completed a study group before may come for topics they
haven't covered before.
TOPICS:
Saturday,
January 29th--Homeopathic treatment of influenza --learn all the
common influenza remedies, which ones are fast onset, which are
slow onset. Get a chart that will help you to decide which
remedy you need at any given influenza presentation.
Saturday,
February 12--homeopathic treatment of colds, sore throats and
coughs --learn all the common remedies used in these winter-time
maladies. More information of potency and dosing to optimize
healing in theses acute situations.
Saturday,
March 12th--Children's Illnesses
Whether
you have a small one with croup, who's teething, who gets crabby
late in the afternoon just before supper time, who has issues
around bedwetting or nightmares, bring your questions and we'll
talk about what can be done to help you with your child's health
issues. Also covered with be information about homeopathic
prophylaxis, the homeopathic alternative to allopathic
immunizations: what you can do if you don't want your child to
be vaccinated or if your child has already been hit by
vaccinosis.

April 16th--Homepathic First Aid
Learn how
to treat mild injuries homeopathically and how to help more
serious injuries to heal faster/better after allopathic medical
care. Topics will include cuts, sprains, strains, falls,, and
general body trauma. Also covered will be post-surgical care of
wounds and plastic surgery, as well as post chiropractic
homeopathic care.

SPRING
CLASSES (April-May-June)
1.
PENDULUMS 101--Using a pendulum in the healing process
A
ONE DAY CLASS in which you learn how to choose a pendulum, how
to work with a pendulum, how to use a pendulum to assess areas
that need attention for healing, how to ask questions of a
pendulum and how to set up a diagram that can help you with more
open-ended pendulum questions. You may bring your own pendulum
if you have one or may purchase one at classtime. You may also
make your own pendulum if you are feeling creative. NOTE: this
information is also covered in Reiki I class.

2. YOUR
AURA, CHAKRAS AND HEALING
A
ONE DAY CLASS where you get beginning information about working
with these energy fields. You will be taught the location and
functions/dysfunctions of each chakra, about the aura, which
some call the 8th chakra, about using healing energy in these
areas. Learn about the importance of clearing and healing your
aura and chakras.
Learn how
to do a "brush down to clear others as a brief helping therapy.
NOTE: Most of this information is covered in REIKI I.

ACUPRESSURE STUDY GROUP
PREREQUISITES: REIKI I OR PENDULUMS AND CHAKRAS
This
beginning class series on Acupressure will be an on-going class
of 7 to 8 weekends. Learn the Five elements, the theory of
healing behind that and the various flows that go with those
elements. Use of the pendulum will be embedded in this class as
will working with the aura and chakras in the healing setting.
It's a
big time commitment, so classes will be held one weekend per
month. Class size is limited to 6 people as massage tables will
have to be set up in the classroom for the practical part of the
classes. Class will consist of theoretical/lectures in the
morning with practice in the afternoons. There will be reading
to be done before each class. The first weekend will cover the
five element theory, basic measurements in acupressure,
including an introduction to reading and charting pulses.
Homework will be sent with each student at the end of each
class. You will be expected to practice each sequence you learn
between classes. Each weekend will be spent on one of the five
elements, one element will take two weekends. At each class, the
relevant material for the five element theory will be reviewed
to help you integrate this information into your understanding
of each element. Because of the complexity of the material,
classes will be held in spring and continue in the fall.
Textbooks will need to be purchased.
It
would be helpful to have a massage table, though you can share
with a classmate who has a table.
COST:
$300quarter[--that's $100 per weekend]
Dates:
one weekend each in April, May, June, September, October,
November, January and February.
